I love sitting on the porch with a glass of iced tea and reading about 15 pages of Rebecca, drawing out the pleasure of the story like the longer hours of sunlight as the summer progresses. Tonight, we went for a drive to Monte Carlo with Mr. DeWinter. He was rather forceful. I regret that the narrator lost the postcard she bought some time before the events of the book.
