Chapter XIII was incredible. The fact that the evidences of this chapter, those being the natural classification of organisms described through descent from common ancestors, morphological similarities across classes, the similarity of embryological structure across vastly different classes, and the presence of rudimentary or aborted organs, were enough for Darwin to believe in evolution is incredible!

Chapter 9, Darwin's first of two chapters on geology, was incredibly interesting! He addresses some of the major flaws with his theory, particularly regarding geology and the fossil record, and masterfully explains away most of the flaws with an incredible explanation of why there are gaps in the fossil record.

Chapter VII was incredible! The explanation of instinct as just another trait of an organism that can selected upon by natural selection is an incredible thought, and one that I never would have thought of! Darwin has such a way of finding the weaknesses in theory and just utterly destroying them with incredible examples, some from his very own experiences.
