read this in highschool and it wavered my spirit ofc and especially as an African. still impressed with how chinua achebe was able to touch on such a complex subject like colonization in such way. so much so a hardheaded society like the United States can acknowledge it in the school institution. i weep for the stories I won’t know because of or read of because of whiteness
