Got past the close reading of the poem. It was HARD. The following transition into the actual Hitler is so much more fun to read.

More family stuff. Talking about the switch and redefined need for Linda, very beautiful and sad feeling. Excited for the Hitler essay!

Back into the book again after a long break. School stress got in the way.

Took a while to get my mind in the space to read this. It’s dense! Not easy going memoir like the first couple. Coming close to the Hitler essay, but Karl has some marital stuff to go over first.

Loving the little essays that are spurred from every day occurrences. Can’t remember if this was how the earlier books worked

Nighttime on the first night with his kids alone. He’s going over Gunnar’s emails, questioning his own legitimacy. Going over events of the first book and questioning where, and how he came to their certainty in his head.
