Parts 3-5 are about making a pilgrimage to the great lithe in hopes that lei will receive the body of a man. It also shows more of how the plague is handled and more about the world religion.
The end of part 5-the end of the book is about finding the truth about the religion’s and night demon’s pasts.

The point of the story is finally starting. Before this it was more just world building and like a traditional/older fantasy book where it’s a lot of descriptions of travel. I don’t mind that, I just tend to like faster paced books.
I hope we learn more about the parents and the liths and the reality of it all
