I'm really on the fence about continuing this one. I was shocked that someone with Down syndrome was described as retarded the first time it happened, and the second time, I checked the publication date. How did an editor in 2008 let that pass? Unacceptable. Hoping that it works into the plot in some way that shows character growth.
