Glad I read your review! I was drawn to this book as I love any story set in the PNW. Also, I remember the entire D.B.Cooper drama. We lived in Portland but were in Seattle visiting family that weekend. The 'breaking news' running reporting seemed 'over kill' and obnoxious at the time but little did we know that in the 21st century, "breaking news" would be an obsession! You've saved me requesting this novel at the library and letting it sit on the desk until time to take it back because it was dull and boring.
