Given GoodReads is owned by Amazon and big tech bows to the current administration, is anyone else worried about their data on GoodReads? What does a list of books read and to-read say about a person? Should we be leaving this platform behind, if not for ourselves, in solidarity with those that can’t afford to have their data tracked?

Will I’ve been wondering the same, Maryann! I’ve been wondering if there are alternatives that I haven’t considered yet like book clubs or exchanges with friends. Let me know if you have ideas!

Renée Roehl The StoryGraph is the alternative. You can get your data but it takes a bit and move it here. A woman designed this and basically runs it.
