I just can't do it any longer. Perhaps I'll try again another time. I wanted to enjoy it. I kept telling myself that it would likely redeem itself in time, that my brother recommends it. After all, it is Dumas... he was a great author. I devoured The Count of Monte Cristo! This is just not fun to read.
