I'd rather die than live in a "gay city" where queer and trans people aren't recognized as valid. The joy of being gay, of being a queer person is rooted in freedom to be whatever I am however I am. Who the fuck would trade one set of rules for another set of rules.

This book is well written, and i'm enjoying it. But part of me is totally hate reading it.
