Did you by chance post your paperback first to collect pre-publication reviews? Because I had something similar happen. If it is the same thing that happened to me, they'll put them back in about five days-- too late to be of much use in getting early sales. I was hoping this was a one-time glitch but if it's happening to other authors...

You know, the paperback was up briefly - it came down again because we found typos, but that might be it. Thanks!
The CSR at KDP said when they combine the book records for the paperback & the Kindle version then the reviews can disappear for up to 5 days. In my case, it was at least 5 days. I think one of them (the first one) was closer to 10 days before they reposted. Of course they've always said this but it wasn't until my July release that I actually had it happen.
