the Sir Percival story has a lot of Sir Gawain near the end and ends abruptly incomplete.. the little appendix notes at the end of the book tell me that what was left out is all of Sir Percival's sauce, he plays magical chess, kills a giant, defeats all the best Round Table knights in a tournament, gets the Holy Grail, fights the Devil and another demon, beats the Round Table in another tournament, andsitsonfairyseat

Finished Knight of the Cart. pretty good story, only thing i dont really like is how the cart is barely mentioned and the affair with Guinivere doesnt male much sense, she kind of just loves Sir Lancelot for no reason despite being married to King Arthur and the cart is supposed to be really disbonorable to ride in but is only mentioned like 3 times. probably the first and only time Sir Kay ever does anything..

finished Cliges, kind of mid.. had a lot of thoughts which was cool, characters in love having doubts and stuff spiraling in their heads but it waa done twice with Alexander then again with his son Cliges which felt unneccessary. hyped for Sir Lancelot

finished Erec and Enide, pretty average for an arthurian tale. felt like the story could have easily ended in many places but continued instead. The ending was fine though but sort of came from nowhere with King Lac dying and Erec replacing him since hes his son. The joy of the court felt kind of unneccesary, all it did was give Erec more friends. The whole adventure was odd since everything is just forgiven attheend
