A lot of this is common sense critical thinking skills but this book is very good at breaking some stuff down into various thought processes and arguments

Some parts are better than others. Some of it is very complex, so if you’re planning on using it to debate someone at the dinner table it might not be a good fit. Good to have counter arguments that seem well researched to some of the rhetoric though. Also the suggested reading lists are worth perusing. Some of it may be outdated at this point though.
