This is an enjoyable switch to reading the bible in a year program, and the second way I have shaken up my routine. The first is that I listen on audio. I can listen to whole books at a time! Why is this chronological reading different? David is running and hiding from Saul, and the next reading portions are Psalms of David. Chronicles and Kings mesh together so I get a cohesive idea of historical context.
