i know this is not quite finished, but in my notebook where i manually track reading alongside here i'm gonna pretend 1st april is an extension of 31st march and that i finished the book still in march

so, i've been informed that jak is intelligent and has "an academic mind". and then she goes and does a stupid, risky thing and proceeds to suggest courses of action that imply she hasn't comprehended a single thing about the situation at hand. and i'm sitting here like "it's gonna be a fucking miracle if this doesn't go sideways"??? i know options are limited, but there's no way this will go smoothly???
