Suddenly there’s an investigation in which the VICTIMS are questioned as possible suspects??
Main character is mad at dad for charade—even though MC is 18 and could’ve rebelled a long time ago

It’s obvious writer is pushing the story where it doesn’t logically flow just to meet her plotted end
