I finished 24 amazing books! My average rating was an impressive 4.04.
A big part of that was thanks to some of my favorite authors. K. Webster’s Mind Maze & Q.B. Tyler’s The Nanny Is Off Limits were definite highlights.
I also stepped outside my comfort zone a bit. Sci-fi turned out to be way more enjoyable than I expected, but body horror is just not my cup of tea.

Reading has been a rollercoaster this year. I’ve been either reading 2 books or 20. I usually juggle 3 to 5 books simultaneously, so having completed all my books consecutively and not being actively reading anything as I’m entering November feels quite odd (but I’m about to start 3 new ones). As of today, I’m only 8 short of my goal of 150!

I’ve been pretty light and lackluster on reading this summer, barely making a dent in my summer reading list. However, I’m much more excited about my fall reading list! I’ll finally be diving into 'The Last Letter' with my book club, along with Emily Rath's new release 'Pucking Strong' and a few dark romances that have been sitting on my TBR for far too long. Fingers crossed that this reading season is better!

I felt like I wasn’t reading much this May, but I guess I finished 17 books—almost all in the first half of the month. I think it was less about not reading and more about being overwhelmed with work towards the end of the month, leaving me with a lot less time to read than usual.

Highlights included listening to the Graphic Audiobook versions of the Empyrean series before Onyx Storm dropped—and oh boy, Onyx Storm was SO good! I did a re-read of Nyla K.’s For the Fans, read FantasticLand by Mike Bockoven, which’s been on my TBR for way too long, and discovered a new author in Willow Aster!
