This dude really believes in the differences between genders. He frequently says things like, "this is obviously a woman's creation," and "only a woman could write this." Sometimes it's an insult, and sometimes it's a compliment. I wonder if he'll do the same thing when talking about the male authors...

I wish I remembered Middlemarch better, because I'm pretty sure I STRONGLY disagree with most of this commentary.

Page 1, paragraph 1, line 1: "the [only] great English novelists are Jane Austen, George Eliot, Henry James, and Joseph Conrad." Take note, children... this is how to not bury the lead.
