The West isn't perfect. Not at all. But Russia creates its own crises by perpetual victimhood in foreign affairs, turning everything into an existential crisis, and paranoia about the West trying to beat Russia into submission. This book, so far, lays out a strong case to still blame the Russian elites, but not say "poor Russian people, they just want democracy". This is Russia's war.
