Some of the best scenes are the ones between Valek and Bree.

There is both too much and too little happening at the same time and it's not great for the world building. The things I want more of, more details, more character progression (hell, some consistency in character/personality too if we're being honest) just aren't there and I'm more than halfway done reading. What *is* there are details that don't advance the story or even give insight to the characters. *sigh*

I feel like it's not giving what I want it to give and being 3/4 done with the book doesn't seem to bode well. There's both too much and too little happening at the same time and it's upsetting me and my homegirls.
