I like it fine, but I would say not my favorite “Middle Ages” newbery. I think “the midwife’s apprentice” or “good masters, sweet ladies” are better, but I think Adam of the road is better written in terms of Middle Ages historical fiction. I’m doing very well thank you! This is one of the 2 last newbery award winners I have left to read. Let me know if you need suggestions for others. I can’t believe how big Scarlett has gotten! How time flies!
