Incredible book! I don’t usually like industry books but super well written. Anyone interested in commodities should read this book.

The book takes you through how the big trading shops got where they are now - Glencore, Trafigura, Vitol, Gunvor and Mercuria. It starts from Phillips Brothers with a focus on Marc Rich and follows his career through Marc Rich & Co. then the birth of today’s trading houses.
