Having not finished the book yet, I am fascinated with the ideals of Confucius. He has a rational mind, yet his ideals tend to be far more spiritual than Greek thinkers of the same era. As of page 108, the book has mainly analysed the Confucius’s life and the ideas’ viability as a practical system in the modern world. However, starting to get into said ideas themselves, his world view is illuminating to consider.
