The storyline is a little slow. Seems to get slower down the line and the stay in the mansion is very detailed. Almost too detailed. Started as a 3 star read but I think we’d down to two.

I’m listening to the audio version which is a first for me as I try to avoid audiobooks like the plague. It is super convenient and I’m enjoying the book but I find myself more interested in the missing character Adrian as opposed to the main characters in present day. I almost hate when we come back to the current reality but maybe because right now they seem very… simple.
