The Wellesley portion of the book seems to be trying to pull off a Mean Girls/Clueless/Heathers type vibe and failing abysmally. There's a reason those stories were told through a visual medium.

I'm reading from the proof copy, so idk how much will have changed in the actually published version, but so far this is reading like abreast concept stilted by bad, out-of-touch YA writing. Dozens of clips are not fashionable. Dex is not a good character name.
