so random but that one panel of reo in chapter 186 where he’s like “don’t force a comparison and get pessimistic. he’s him and i’m me. i just need to find a way to make it through the nel with my own style!” is like one of my favorites IDK WHY. and reo looks so pretty there.

people using kaiser’s past as an excuse for the way he treats ness…if anything it makes me hate him even more. like you KNOW what abuse feels like and you HATE your father for what he did to you, and you chose to be exactly like him anyways???

and i’ve seen people say “kaiser DOES love ness but this is the only way he knows how to show love” whether or not that’s true, it’s still a shit excuse and something abusers OFTEN say to justify their actions. kaiser’s an adult. he can LEARN to show respect. someone else is still being hurt by his actions.

saying “i need a dog who will submit to my malice” and then choosing ness because he’s incredibly talented, “but above all, he’s isolated.” like what is WRONG with you.

just seeing him pass down all that violence and hatred onto ness when he KNOWS how horrible it is…like that’s so disgusting.

kaiser’s backstory is super sad & no child deserves that but also…seeing him repeat the cycle of abuse onto ness is fucking enraging.

the way the cops saw kaiser getting abused by his father & didn’t do anything to him, and even GAVE HIM the money kaiser saved up is so annoying. like you see a teenager getting his shit wrecked by his father, then you see he’s been secretly hiding a stash of money, and don’t put the very obvious dots together that he was desperate to escape???
