Unexpected but DELIGHTFUL interruption to reading for a spell. The Angels still have a winning record 8 games in, a fucking miracle at Chez Moi. So I’m gonna enjoy it while it lasts. Should be about Wednesday before we spiral. Spring’s Hope’s Eternal.

Oh, fuck, Jeff, could you be more Canadian? Baseball team. Like the Blue Jays. Or my lamented, beloved Expos. The only television I watch. No exceptions. Angel Stadium is something like 10 miles from me. My grandma’s house when I was a kid was almost in its Big-A sign’s shadow. They’re my version of social participation. Baseball is pure escapism for me, having never played on any team at any age ever. Its strategy has always bewitched me.
That’s the Angels. And we fucking SUCK every year. Laughing stock bad.
And we will again by the end of the week. Interstitial moment of joy. :)
Happy spring, Cody! My top wish this season is that my Royals can repeat what they did last year and make it to the postseason. My second wish is we (baseball fans everywhere) get to see a healthy Trout play 140+ and mash. I’m always pulling for your Angels - as much as an AL Central guy can. Just take care of the Houston trash cans, okay?
Fuck those cheaters. Manfred, scoundrel, should’ve bounced the franchise. KC is a lovable club. Always grinding away, no bullshit. No huge market—just baseball. Glorious fucking baseball.

You have to take in that I was born on the tip of north america that faces the north atlantic, a place that has its own time zone. Way, way far away from where you live and wherever these Angels play. Just Angels? ;~] Like Cher?
Los Angeles Angels. Like the tip but that sticks out on CA on a map diametrically opposite PEI. I know you were. And I was absolutely joking, which you know. And I am sure despite your isolated, Neolithic surroundings, you can recite all Hockey clubs in glorious Latin prayer before sleep, like all good Canadian boys.
