The book is pretty slow moving so far. The author focuses a lot on character building and scene setting. You get about half way through the book before you get to the actual mystery.

This author's style is more drama than rom com humor. It actually comes across as sort of dry and dull at the moment.
The plot is good though and I would like to know how it ends so I'm going to finish the book. But this isn't an author I'm going to read repeatedly.
