This is exactly the type of book I was looking for, another long-ass novel of manners and 1700s-1800s drama that Jane Austen would have read. I need more of these rare older books and I also need to know why this author isn’t talked about more. She wrote SO MUCH and even got arrested at some point for writing a political pamphlet. Come on
