ngl, i didn't know "wife-chasing crematorium" novels were like, a thing, but like oh my god, that's like one of my favorite tropes ever. Like, i can't explain it, but like.... idk man! I love a man/girl who realizes he's been wronged, leaves, and then the Love Interest has to realize they've fucked up and come grovelling back. A chapter of this in between each essay I grade will save me.
