This is a neat memoir, written by an American lady (the granddaughter of U. S. Grant) who married a minor Russian prince, Michael Cantacuzene (descendant of Byzantine emperor John Cantacuzene, whoa) around 1900. She loved Russian life, and lived through WWI and the Revolution before escaping to the US with her family. Really neat to read.
