what is with contemporary authors not using complete sentences? it's not creative license; it's distracting and breaks the train of thought. ugh. I see potential here but this makes me nuts (probably more so now because I've just completed a few books that have done the same.) it's no wonder I go back to time-tested books constantly: it's not just the stories but I'm sometimes in awe of the sentencing structures.
