“in the canopy, friendly birds (not the desperate, demented scavengers that sometimes overflew the plains) chirped and labored on their nests.” i just love how the author writes so descriptively, otherworldly, and funny at the same time ~ 6:15 pm, 5/4/25

“what does chair mean? he reached it and touched it.” this kinda made me laugh but even tho i get bored reading this i really like the mc

i’m bored.

so the woman killed caleb who she had some weird feelings towards and then left the fat man (as named in the book) behind but he came back to help håkan escape !?

nah they boned and turns out she has black gums with no teeth and breath that smells like burned sugar with bulging veins of pus….

a story about the glamorized western world and the struggles with immigration… i’m only at the beginning but i’ve tabbed a bit so far.

håkan söderström…. very interesting name
