My roommate in college in the early 1970s was an avid science fiction fan. She was really into Michael Moorcock. Plus, he wrote a series of fantasy novels with Tarot cards playing a central role.

So I got really into Moorcock, too. I haven’t read him in a long time, but I want to read him again. When I saw your post, it reminded me.

I came to Moorcock via my ex-husband. He was an avid fan, along with his friend, and they were always discussing the Elric Saga. So I decided I needed to find out what was so fantastic. And I became an avid fan. I've read many of the Eternal Champion books. One that I got through the Quality Paperback Book Club was somewhat of a departure but included a referential character for one of the companions. Gloriana. I loved that book.
