magical thinking is always good for the kid in us. as long as we don’t get so attached to something that it has power over us—magical thinking can allow us to imagine and create things we never would have access to if we stayed strictly realistic adults. i have been reading this slowly for a few months and like reading a few pages at a time, on my tablet, writing in the margins, to jumpstart my creativity.
