Okay- three doesn’t cover it. I loved so much of it- great writing. And then… what happened on the story? A serial killer? A storm- rape- suicide? The story took so many turns at the end and did not fully arch and settle out. It is more of a combination of a 4.5 and then a 2. Great writing, good beginning of a story, lots of wit- and then the decline of the book in the last 25%.
