It is to be noted that Divine Providence has wisely decreed that the first letter of the Canon of the Mass should be a T(Te, igitur...). This capital letter T shows to us very clearly the holy sign of the cross.

The celebration of the holy Sacrament of the altar is called the "Mass," and is related to the word "mission" (or sending forth.) For the Mass is like a legation sent forth between God and humanity, and between humanity and God.
