Very interesting take on colorism - reminds me slightly of colors truck and skin deep by Benita Porter. Te characters n story were ok but at times not fully developed, but nice splashes of historical figures of the time were cute. Although not as an accomplished ( in my opinion) author it keep me interested in what was going to happen next, and that I supposed is the objective of works of fiction.
