I think I'm going to have to lean on Joe's side in this situation: Based on everything we're hearing right now, Maggie was being a brat 2 years ago. Yes, she was surprised at what Joe was doing, but if he was working like she says she believes, then the fact that he was supposedly ignoring her fits. It's not like he could have called and said "Hey babe, I'm going on a date with someone else tonight. Don't be mad."
