Basically the broadstrokes: the first third or so hardly has any of The Company and focuses more in Raven and a new character who's easy to dislike.
Once the Company arrives to the north they learn of a mysterious dark crystal castle that the locals try and pretend doesn't exist...

It's an interesting story and I feel like it might have some esoteric connections to Port of Shadows that I'm gonna read next.

Different from the first, not necessarily in a bad way. More of a character drama than military campaign so far.
