But where is Waldo? I've been staring at this thing for an hour and I can't find Waldo!
I think that not putting Waldo in a huge-ass crowd scene such as this should be illegal.

Nice ending shot. The world's really starting to open up.

Cool setpiece. A lot here that I should remember for my own games.

There's the makings of a proper old-school dungeon crawl here. You've got tricks, you've got traps, you've got monsters pulling ambushes. You've got labyrinths, and you need to be quick and clever to get through it all. And at the end of the day it's basically just a sneaky heist mission. Even Gygax got namedropped.

Demons in this setting are pretty cool. Nasty, wicked, cruel, steeped in - born out of - sin, but still possessing the free will and, consequently, at least a theoretical capacity to be better.
Also, great designs.

The author's alt-text goes on about Allison being known for her bad decisions, like it's a theme or something... but I think making the bargain was the first one of hers that was actually bad. The rest I was on board with near-100%.
I don't even think she needed to do it. She had the power already, had been using it for a bit. All she needed was guidance, bit of tutoring.

She wakes up on a ship she's never been on and immediately assumes the premise that it's her ship and that everyone else - the ones that stole the damn thing in the first place - can just jump off if they don't agree with her. This sort of thing could easily come across as obnoxiously arrogant, but she makes it work. She has the makings of true Royalty.
