I'm halfway through this book. I can say it's much easier to read in comparison to any textbook, but it's really not comic bookish. There is a narrative paragraph and a picture. Occasionally you get some dialogue like you'd expect, but most of it is boring narrative.

Lots of little pieces of knowledge buried in the text. Not sure kids that are used to reading Superman and Batman comics exclusively will like the layout, but here's hoping.
