It was… a chore to get through this one. I was excited to read what I hoped to be one of the vilest villains’ origin story and what created him. Instead, I found it exhausting and boring to be in Snow’s head. He wasn’t that interesting at all. Everytime I thought the book was getting exciting, it loses me again. (Pushed through so I can read Heymich’s story.)
