Right before i got to chapter 7 he cam upon a problem there was a rattle snake right where he had to pass through and one of the sheep in the heard got bit.He couldn't think of what to do then he thought of what his pa and Cawley would do and he said the would shoot it and put it out of its missory.

On page 38 crawley seems like he dont care what the boy wants he sends him with the food and the dogs up to the haymeadow by himself. All he had to go with him is some food his dog and two horses.
