It feels rather taboo to pick up a book titled like this in current day and age, even though the title on goodreads is incorrect. The information provided in this work is invaluable. It describes the timeline of how psychiatric treatment evolved in the world, primarily in Australia & USA. It's interesting to compare with local history of my own country. Didn't know we were ahead of times in mental health sphere.
