I ship it. Either way, good book. Slow in parts but not offensively so. I’m almost tempted to pickup more Warhammer again. But I’ll ponder it. A tomorrow problem. Onto the next, whatever that may be

Holy shit Lelith just cut Asdrubael Vect’s fucking hand off. That is metal as fuck. I did not expect this ending, with the Supreme Overlord at her mercy. And unsurprisingly, whatever amounts to love for Drukhari infects Lelith AND Morghana. How… sweet.

This is taking me a bit to read. Not because it is bad by any means but it is… expositiony, is the only word I can muster. It’s fascinating delving into Lelith’s mind, especially this new worship-effect she has on the lowly Drukhari. And of course she’s a bisexual queen, though she’s a Drukhari, I’m not surprised. And clearly her and Morghana were more than allies. I wonder what their end will be?

Did I mention I love the Harlequins? Those murderous crazies who serve Cegorach are so cryptically whimsical you cant help but love them. Commorragh in need of balance, eh? With Vect there I dont think such a thing is possible. But I suppose we’ll see

Unrelated but I saw a review saying this has ‘woke’ things in it and that tickled me. Some people are truly Neanderthals and limited in their scope.

Gotta say, loved the opener. It helps it was a Harlequin and I love those dancing dastardly bastards. And breaking down the different Aeldari factions in a few pages is impressive. And I almost forgot Vect is some ascendant being now after plotting his own demise and resurrection. I’m interested to see what part Lelith plays, since she swore herself into the service of Yvraine. Guess we’ll see
