A comforting cup of coffee (or tea!): just the right level of heat following the suspense of binging cup to mouth; just the right mingling of aromas--vulnerability, fear, acceptance, kindness, cheerfulness, creativity. I liked both men, but especially Caleb: he was extraordinarily adaptable, his pov making his reality something I liked to read about. Not long enough for deep feelz, but lovely for what it was.
