It seemed like Mitch’s dad was a good guy, from how Mitch spoke about him. But then we met him when they had lunch and wth?! So Geoff is still married to Mitch’s mom, which means he’s rich too. So why on earth is he okay with his wife unilaterally deciding that they wouldn’t help Mitch with his tuition unless he went for a business degree? Why is he so okay with letting his son struggle financially? Most importantly, how is he okay with the emotional abuse??? And I don’t think Geoff is entirely innocent in the Dan situation either (given that this happened when Mitch was still 14yo and Dan was 20, and imo the situation definitely warranted parental interference) but I’m reserving judgement cause there hasn’t been much revealed about that rift yet.
