I had to pick something to read independently for my Japanese class and decided to be all ~literary about it. Do I have the requisite fluency and knowledge of kanji to read this without missing things? Absolutely and indubitably not. How much am I actually getting? At best, 55%. Is half my reading time spent googling stuff? Unfortunately, that would be a yes.

But is it still a vibe? Improbably, somehow, yes.
