This is honestly starting to feel abusive, on both ends. He’s making her responsible for his life or death, though it’s played for laughs (?). And her? That man is crushingly lonely, with zero real connections in the world, and she’s telling him that this is right and good because he belongs to the fans, so he should never seek anything real.
